Job Summary

Manage complex accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements. Support month-end close activities by reviewing revenues, expenses, and balance sheet accounts, then book necessary adjusting journal entries. Review and approve invoices for appropriate GL coding, authorization, and payment, while calculating and recording clinic-level bonuses. Prepare and record expense allocation journal entries, and assist in preparing financial statements for specific partnerships within a region. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts including accounts receivable, prepaids, and intercompany accounts. Generate financial, operational, and metric trends for review, respond to partner inquiries, and prepare audit schedules as needed. Support M&A activity in the region by integrating clinics and partnerships into USPH. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, proficiency in Excel and Great Plains, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience
  • Proven experience with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and major accounting software (Great Plains or similar)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and precision, and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who is able to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
