Senior Accountant responsible for leading month-end close and supporting financial reporting; duties include balancing and reconciling general ledger accounts, generating month/quarter end reports, assisting with external audits and regulatory filings, reconciling accounts with Federal Reserve Bank and Federal Home Loan Bank, and ensuring accurate daily general ledger reconciliations in a financial-institution setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years' experience in a financial institution (Credit Union preferred)
- Experience with Symatar, CONCUR and other accounting software
- Strong MS Office and Teams proficiency
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a high-paced environment
