Job Summary
Senior Accountant responsible for Polish entity books, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and collaboration with external provider across Europe. Key duties include monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, month-end reporting, cash flow forecasting, support for external audits, CIT/VAT/Tax and related returns, reviewing financial performance and identifying improvement opportunities, supporting supplier payments, budgeting and forecasting processes, data validation and testing, and assisting with system set-up for new entities or cost centres. The role emphasizes SOX control adherence where applicable, working within the Europe Finance team to support priorities and deliverables, and a focus on continuous improvement, accuracy, and attention to detail. Fluency in Polish and English is required, with a preference for candidates who are recently qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).
Required Qualifications
- Recently Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) – nice to have
- Experience in running accounting books according to Polish statutory requirements
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting
- Experience in ERP/data migrations
- Knowledge of MS Dynamics ERP
- Strong Excel and MS Office applications experience
- Polish and English language skills on fluent level
