Job Summary
Take ownership of day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing journal entries, reconciling complex general ledger accounts, and analyzing financial data for discrepancies. Lead special projects, assist in preparing annual budgets, and ensure all financial practices align with GAAP, IFRS, and company policies while leveraging SaaS-based tools. Train and support junior team members, guiding them through complex tasks to enhance reporting accuracy and drive efficiency. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience, and CPA certification or pursuit. Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- experience in a SaaS, Tech, or Service focused business
- Your CPA certification or actively be pursuing certification
- Experience using BI Power
- Robust experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and budgeting
- Well honed skills in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data
- The ability to review and guide junior team members through complex tasks
- Confidence in working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and financial reporting tools
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
- A growth mindset - always learning, always improving
- The ability to be a positive, up-beat, team-player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- The ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- The ability to be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
