Job Summary
Senior Accountant at Trulieve in Clearwater, FL (remote to hybrid). Responsible for month-end close, posting journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, expense analysis of P&L accounts, preparing schedules for public company filings (10-Q and 10-K), supporting internal and external audits, and assisting with system/process improvements to ensure GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, 5+ years of accounting experience, SAP experience a big plus, advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), and strong cross-functional communication. CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus; must pass a comprehensive background screening. Salary commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits package offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting
- CPA or working towards a plus
- Experience working with external auditors
- Demonstrated ability to pass comprehensive background screening
