Job Summary
Senior Accountant at Trico Homes responsible for full-cycle accounting for the single family division, including monthly close, reconciliations, prep of financial statements, and support for audits. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (CPA in advance level preferred) and 2+ years of experience; familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Yardi) and strong Excel/analytical skills. Based in Calgary, Canada, with emphasis on accurate financial reporting, adherence to regulatory changes, and independent, proactive work under the VP Finance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience at an intermediate or senior accountant level
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Yardi ERP systems would be considered an asset
- CPA program in advance level is preferable
