Job Summary
Create accurate and timely financial records, prepare reports for funding sources, and process accounts payable and payroll. Manage fixed asset inventory, maintain the general ledger, and conduct monthly bank reconciliations. Develop policies for cost allocation, oversee insurance coverage and claims, and supervise staff performance. Assist in recruiting parents by providing program service information. This role supports the Fiscal Department at Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, a non-profit dedicated to improving community quality of life.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Management or closely related field
- Three years of experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Two years of experience working in a position with bookkeeping, accounts payable and payroll responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
- Demonstrated leadership experience through supervision, team leadership, coaching, mentoring, or other roles requiring direction and development of others
