Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing complex accounting activities, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting and conducting month-end and year-end close processes in accordance with GAAP. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, managing account reconciliations, and developing internal controls. The position requires expertise in various accounting areas, mentoring of staff accountants, and collaboration with external auditors. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, a minimum of four years of experience, and advanced proficiency in relevant systems and tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of four years of general accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, financial reporting, and Business Intelligence tools
- Experience supporting audits and financial statement preparation
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting
- CMA, CPA, or equivalent
