Job Summary
Senior Accountant role focused on supporting month/quarter/year closes, journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations; reviewing P&L and performing variance analysis for senior management; inventory support for pricing and levels; preparing financial reports and schedules for external audits; collaborating with cross-functional teams for process improvements; participating in annual audits and assisting with special projects to improve workflow and reporting accuracy. Requires 3-7 years of experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and ideally CPA (or in progress); US GAAP expertise and advanced Excel skills. Primarily in-office with 4 days in the office and 1 day remote in Irvine, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business field
- 3-7 years of accounting experience (blended public accounting and industry accounting)
- CPA or CPA in progress highly preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement audit concepts
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team
