Job Summary
Senior Accountant needed to manage daily and monthly accounting tasks: prepare journal entries for balance sheet accounts and period-end reconciliations, participate in the period end close with G/L reconciliations and analysis, handle daily check deposits and bank reconciliations, process A/P invoices with approvals, support payroll and sales/use tax, contribute to ad-hoc accounting projects, and drive process improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration with accounting emphasis and 5+ years of G/L experience, strong Excel and ERP proficiency, and a proactive, detail-oriented, team-oriented approach. In-office role located in Aliso Viejo, CA; local candidates only.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting
- At least 5+ years of G/L accounting experience including A/R, A/P, and payroll
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Solid Excel skills with prior experience with mid-to-large ERP systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pro-active, organized, and team-oriented environment
