Job Summary
Senior Accountant role in San Juan Capistrano, CA focused on bolstering accounting operations under Controller leadership. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with month-end close and related G/L analysis, preparing financial statements (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow), supporting budgets/forecasts/reports, and participating in ad-hoc projects to drive process improvements. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Business with emphasis in Accounting (CPA preferred), 4+ years of accounting experience (public accounting experience preferred), strong month-end close, advanced Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables), and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills; candidate should be proactive, organized, and team-oriented. 100% on-site work arrangement; relocation assistance available to accommodate on-site requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting; CPA preferred
- 4+ years accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred
- Strong month-end close experience
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills with senior management, and polished presentation skills
- Solid Excel skills including VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc.
