Senior Accountant - Systems Analyst

Senior Accountant will work closely with IT and finance to analyze and improve financial systems, lead or support cross-functional projects (such as automation and system upgrades), and manage the regular general ledger responsibilities. Responsibilities include recording journal entries with proper documentation, reconciling general ledger and bank accounts, investigating discrepancies, supporting month-end and year-end close, and ensuring timely close outcomes. The role also involves developing workflows and specifications for changes to financial systems, overseeing testing of system updates, training finance team members on new systems, tracking project progress and risks, and serving as the main liaison between finance, IT, and other departments to ensure regulatory compliance and strong internal controls. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, AIS/Accounting Information Systems experience, 5-7 years of accounting experience, ERP exposure, GAAP knowledge, strong communication, and project-management skills.
