Senior Accountant, Supply Chain and Inventory Japan

Senior Accountant for Supply Chain and Inventory in Japan responsible for leading inventory accounting activities across month-end close, including inventory close, costing, reserves, inventory adjustments, and COGS, while ensuring alignment between operational and financial inventory flows. Partners with cross-functional teams to review perpetual inventory records, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Maintains internal controls over financial reporting related to inventory in compliance with US GAAP and SOX. Collaborates with Supply Chain Operations, Distribution Centers, and commercial teams to provide accounting guidance on inventory matters, including product flows and cost implications. Builds strong partnerships across local/global teams to drive best practices, process improvements, and transformation initiatives within Nike Finance Controlling.
