Job Summary
Senior Accountant for a manufacturing client in Puyallup, WA. Responsibilities include preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, monthly close, analyzing financial statements and variances, compiling audit PBC requests, establishing fixed asset controls, supporting long-term accounting projects and financial planning for dispersed facilities, and assisting the Finance Director with monthly, quarterly, and annual plans. Must have a Bachelor's in Accounting, 5+ years of GAAP experience, consolidation and fixed asset management experience, strong Excel and ERP software (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics) skills; manufacturing experience and collaborative team orientation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience showing progressing level of responsibility and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Consolidation experience
- Fixed asset management including depreciation
- Strong Excel skills with at least 3 years’ experience with Microsoft Office
- Proficient in ERP/Accounting software (Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, Dynamics), data import and export and Microsoft Office
- Experience within a manufacturing company is strongly preferred
- Experience working within a team environment where communication is prioritized and collaboration is welcome
