Senior Accountant

Job Summary
Senior Accountant role within Vancouver-based organization; lead full-cycle month-end close across multiple entities, prepare and review reconciliations and journal entries, perform variance analysis, support intercompany reconciliations and consolidations, drive process improvements, assist with ERP transition from QuickBooks to NetSuite, and provide guidance to junior staff. CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA preferred. Requires 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong Excel and ERP experience (QuickBooks and/or NetSuite), and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA preferred
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong month-end accounting and reconciliation experience
- Experience within multi-entity environments considered an asset
- Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience
- Experience with QuickBooks and/or NetSuite considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail and working paper documentation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving business environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and ad-hoc requests
