Job Summary
Manage month-end accounting processes, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure accuracy of financial data for reporting. Analyze general ledger accounts, prepare cash flow projections, and support budgeting and variance analysis activities. Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audit preparation and handle HST and regulatory filings. Assist with special projects and improve internal controls while collaborating with senior leadership. This primarily remote role offers a CPA-designated professional strong work-life balance and a collaborative finance team culture.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams
