Job Summary
Analyze complex accounting transactions, financial data, and operational information to support management reporting, regulatory requirements, and strategic decision-making. Prepare, review, and present detailed financial analyses, reports, and documentation for management, auditors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. Evaluate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls; identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Lead or participate in special accounting projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives, including documenting workflows, developing procedures, and implementing new processes. Research and interpret accounting guidance, regulatory requirements, and company policies to resolve complex accounting issues and provide recommendations to management. Reconcile accounts, review financial records, and assess accounting transactions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards and controls. Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to gather information, resolve issues, and support organizational objectives. Provide guidance, training, and project-based leadership to accountants and other accounting support personnel as needed. Support month-end and year-end close activities, audits, regulatory reporting, and other accounting functions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
