Job Summary
Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses across multiple states while working directly with clients on financial data collection and communication. Stay updated on all tax laws to communicate strategies and assist with tax planning that optimizes clients' exposure. Coordinate with advisors on tax and wealth management strategy, integrating new clients onto the platform to offer outsourced family office options including trusts, estates, and investment management. This partnership track role requires living within 100 miles of either the Florida or Massachusetts office, with periodic visits especially during tax season. Bonus eligibility and a flexible hybrid work model are included.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
- A strong working knowledge of individual and corporate tax law in multiple jurisdictions
- Proficiency in one or more accounting software packages such as ProSystem FX, Drake, Quickbooks etc.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle projects, especially during tax season
- Living within 100 miles of either FL or MA office
