Job Summary
Senior Accountant to own end-to-end accounting processes including Order to Cash, AR, AP, and close, with responsibility for billing accuracy, revenue recognition under ASC 606, cash application, collections, and reconciliations. Own GL close, prepaid items, amortization schedules, and variance analysis; drive improvements through SOP development, data accuracy, and scalable processes. Lead an accounting assistant, partner with the Controller, and support growth toward Accounting Manager as the company scales. Collaboration across systems (CRM, Billing, Spend Management) and ability to move faster with AI tools are valued; role emphasizes proactive communication, issue resolution, and timely, accurate reporting. Salary ranges vary by location (San Francisco & New York: $95,000-$125,000; Colorado: $90,000-$115,000; All other locations: $85,000-$125,000). Required Qualifications
- Have 4-6 years of accounting experience with real ownership
- Understand ASC 606 revenue recognition and apply to subscription and usage-based contracts
- Ability to connect data across systems (CRM, Billing, Spend Management)
- Experience closing books and managing AR/AP cycles
- Ability to build repeatable, auditable processes and to lead an accounting assistant
- Comfort with ambiguity and working without a set playbook
