Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Accountant for a high-energy CPA firm, requiring 5+ years of accounting/tax experience, proficiency in QuickBooks and UltraTax, to prepare and review tax returns and financial statements. Strongly encourages CPA applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Financial accounting and tax experience: more than 5 years preferred
- Must be able to review all types of tax returns and give feedback to preparers
- Basic remote computer knowledge to access clients accounting software
- Experience with International tax related functions; IRC Section 1446
Desired Qualifications
- QuickBooks (Desktop and QuickBooks Online)
- Proficient with UltraTax
- Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to manage and give feedback to bookkeepers
- Tax planning and projections experience
- Experience with IRS/State notices
