Job Summary
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes while reviewing and approving journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts. Manage the preparation of sales tax returns, annual tax filings, and periodic financial statements, and coordinate external audits to ensure documentation quality. Lead the budgeting process and conduct financial analyses to support decision-making, while contributing to special projects that optimize month-end closing and accounting practices. Collaborate with IT teams to enhance financial systems and management tools. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting with a CPA, eight years of financial accounting experience, and bilingualism in French and English. Based in Longueuil at P3C level with competitive compensation, annual bonus, and hybrid work options.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA certification
- At least eight (8) years of experience in financial accounting
- Ability to identify opportunities for optimization and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes
