Job Summary
Lead SEC reporting and technical accounting efforts, coordinating cross-functionally to ensure accurate, timely financial disclosures. Responsibilities include preparing and filing 10-Q and 10-K, researching and implementing new accounting standards (ASC, GAAP), coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders, assisting in quarterly earnings release processes, and maintaining documentation for internal controls and SOX compliance. The role is hybrid with two days in the office in a major metro area (Atlanta, GA).
Required Qualifications
- CPA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience (ideally including Big 4 public accounting and public company reporting)
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
