Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting

Job Summary
Prepare quarterly and annual SEC supporting materials, financial statements, and related disclosures in compliance with US GAAP and SEC reporting standards. Collaborate with external auditors, executives, finance, legal, and investor relations to ensure accurate and timely reporting, while monitoring new accounting pronouncements and implementing reporting changes. Maintain relationships with external auditors for annual audits and quarterly reviews, and partner with cross-functional teams to draft MD&A and prepare ESG disclosures and government financial surveys. Work with the international team to review statutory financial statements for local compliance and provide ad hoc reporting or technical assistance on transactions. Manage the business process from start to finish, identifying roadblocks and communicating challenges to your manager in a deadline-driven environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements
- Understanding of US GAAP
- High level of organizational and critical thinking skills
- Superior attention to detail with a high sense of urgency
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work extended hours during critical periods
