Job Summary
Manage all accounting transactions for assigned cost centers per GAAP, prepare budget forecasts, and review, analyze, and publish financial statements. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, perform bank reconciliations, reconcile general ledger accounts, and conduct audits. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm on-site in Minden, Nevada. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting with 5-7 years of experience, advanced Excel skills, and knowledge of Great Plains Preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5-7 years of accounting experience and knowledge
- 8 years prior accounting experience and knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Knowledge of Great Plains
- Ability to produce, review and analyze financial statements
- Ability to perform bank reconciliations
- Ability to perform audit
- Ability to reconcile general ledger accounts
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Ability to pass a physical
- Ability to pass a TB test
- Ability to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
