Job Summary
Senior Accountant (RTR) to join Sulzer's Accounting team in Madrid, Spain. You will serve as a key member of the RTR team, support complex accounting activities, ensure IFRS compliance, manage detailed journal entries and reconciliations, oversee period-end close, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with local and global finance teams, auditors, and tax authorities. You will work with ERP systems and tools such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, iScala, Tagetik, Coprocess, and Qlik Sense, and contribute to continuous improvement of RTR processes while maintaining strong internal controls and accurate financial reporting. Proficiency in English; French is a plus. Permanent contract with competitive salary and fringe benefits.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- CPA or ACCA or CMA or equivalent certification preferred
