Job Summary
Prepare and post monthly journal entries, perform month-end and year-end close procedures, and review account reconciliations across balance sheet accounts. Support debt arrangement accounting, including draws, interest, and covenant compliance monitoring, while assisting with intercompany transactions and eliminations. Review lease agreements for ASC 842 revenue recognition, prepare invoices for data center leases, and analyze financial trends to provide variance explanations to management. Maintain documentation and internal controls for GAAP, internal policies, and SOX compliance, and support quarterly reviews and annual audits. Report to the Corporate Accounting Manager within the Accounting department.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of general ledger or corporate accounting experience
- Degree in Accounting
- ERP system such as NetSuite required
- Working understanding of U.S. GAAP, including familiarity with ASC 842 and debt-related accounting concepts
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing account reconciliations and monthly journal entries
- Proven ability to interpret contracts and apply technical accounting guidance
