Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 5+ years of experience in financial accounting to support month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, financial analysis, and accounting system testing. Key responsibilities include preparing journal entries in the ERP system (Sage 100), supporting internal and external financial audits, collaborating with finance teams, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, and solid experience with ERP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close processes
- Experience supporting financial audits
- Experience using ERP systems, preferably Sage 100
- Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system implementations is a plus
- Familiarity with Zuora or subscription billing platforms is preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with international teams, including U.S. stakeholders
