Job Summary
Senior Accountant, Revenue Accounting role focused on supporting U.S. revenue accounting activities within Moderna’s commercial accounting environment, coordinating with U.S. and Poland teams, and contributing to close processes, SOX/compliance, and process improvements. Responsibilities include reconciliations, journal entries, month- and quarter-end close, order-to-cash analysis, invoice scrutiny, cash application oversight, maintaining audit-ready documentation, assisting with internal/external audits, and supporting automation and digital tooling to drive efficiency. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, 3–5 years of accounting experience (revenue accounting a plus), strong GAAP/IFRS understanding, proficiency in ERP systems (SAP a plus) and Excel, and professional-level English; healthcare/pharma experience is beneficial. Demonstrates collaboration across global teams, attention to detail, and a mindset of continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience including revenue accounting and/or general accounting responsibilities within a complex business environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities
- Experience supporting revenue accounting, accounts receivable, or general accounting processes; experience with order-to-cash processes is a plus
- ERP system experience and proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus
- Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Pharma, biotech, or healthcare industry experience is a plus
