Job Summary
Senior Accountant responsible for end-to-end revenue close cycle including SaaS revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and commissions, with ownership of the full journal process and payroll administration across jurisdictions. Works closely with the Senior Manager, Finance to ensure accurate general ledger, timely financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS. Responsibilities include updating services forecasting, MTM analysis, revenue recognition and billings reconciliation, commissions administration (including onboarding new sales staff), and collaboration on commission plan feasibility from a process and systems perspective. Requires CPA/CA designation and strong Excel, plus experience with Intacct, Salesforce, Concur, and Xactly; hybrid work arrangement in Toronto, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent)
- Accounting designation required (CPA, CA)
- Experience as a Senior Accountant or in a finance management role
- Experience working with IFRS is required
- Experience with analyzing or implementing Finance/Accounting internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills (modelling, V-lookup, pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Experience with Intacct, Salesforce, Concur, and Xactly is an asset
