Job Summary
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet and income statement accounts, and ensuring financial statements are delivered on time. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, accounts receivable, occupancy tax schedules, and revenue reporting while analyzing variances and investigating financial results. Support tax reporting and compliance with state and local regulations using Avalara, maintain accounting controls, and participate in internal and external audits. Assist with accounting system administration, process enhancements, and special projects including acquisitions and transitions. Work closely with hotel leadership and operations teams to resolve accounting issues and improve financial accuracy across multiple properties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality, multi-entity, or corporate accounting environments
- Experience with financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and month-end close processes
- Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality standards
