Job Summary
Deliver accurate, timely financial reports and maintain audit-ready books by managing balance sheets, P&L statements, and account reconciliations for a portfolio of Member businesses. Track assets, liabilities, and loan amortizations while translating complex financials into actionable insights for entrepreneurs. Collaborate directly with clients to design budgets, track actuals, and plan for growth, while recommending accounting automation to reduce errors. Prepare tax documents for audits and manage compliance to keep members stress-free. Mentor junior accountants and ensure all deliverables meet GAAP standards. This full-time exempt role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years with QuickBooks Online, and is open to candidates residing in CO, FL, GA, NC, NY, OK, UT, or WI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional accounting experience
- at least 1 year in a senior or supervisory role
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online
- 2+ years working in an accounting firm or similar fast-paced, multi-client environment
- Deep knowledge of GAAP
- strong Excel skills - pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Remote candidates must reside and work from one of the following states: CO, FL, GA, NC, NY, OK, UT, WI
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
