Job Summary
Senior Accountant at Lincoln Waste Solutions (Reconomy-backed) overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close, GAAP financial reporting, and internal controls in a private-equity environment. Collaborates with FP&A, operations, and external auditors to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, consolidations across entities, and audit readiness. Responsible for P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, reconciliations, variance analysis, and ensuring SOX-lite controls. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, 4–7+ years accounting experience (public accounting a plus), Big 4 or regional firm experience, and proficiency with ERP/SAAS tools (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm)
- Experience with monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting using SAAS tools (Anaplan)
- Audit experience (public accounting or audit support)
- Experience in a multi-entity or PE-backed environment a plus
- Strong Written communication and verbal skills
- ERP/system experience: NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred
