Job Summary
Senior Accountant (QuickBooks Specialist) responsible for leading full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, vendor management, and reconciling across QuickBooks Desktop and Online. Will prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end financial reports, support audit readiness, liaise with outsourced Power BI consultants for financial data exports, and ensure integrity across general ledger and reconciliations. Requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, and expert QuickBooks proficiency; mortgage lending/financial services background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online
- Experience in Mortgage Lending, Banking, or Financial Services preferred
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reconciliation
- Comfortable with financial data and Power BI or reporting initiatives
- Attention to detail and compliance
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
