Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will perform monthly and daily general ledger accounting for one or more data center facilities, collaborating with the accounting team to complete month-end procedures and reports. Responsibilities include providing guidance on processes, performing complex accounting treatments/analysis, troubleshooting system issues to ensure data integrity, supporting internal controls documentation, preparing month-end close activities (journal entries, accruals, fixed assets, revenue/expense deferrals, bank reconciliations), preparing income statements and balance sheets, assisting with monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements, aiding in budgeting and quarterly forecasts with variance analysis, reviewing purchase requests for GL coding, preparing audit schedules, and supporting software/process upgrades. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field, 3+ years of accounting experience; preferred qualifications include MBA and CPA. Proficiency in GAAP, Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups), and accounting systems (Dynamics GP preferred) is expected, along with strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
