Job Summary
Senior Accountant responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting under GAAP, conducting detailed financial analysis, coordinating tax research and advice, and supporting the finance department through an ERP uplift to a Cloud platform. Requires CPA designation, strong GAAP knowledge, and Excel proficiency; experience with Syteline and in manufacturing/retail environments is an asset. Based in the Vancouver, BC area with a focus on financial statements, regulatory compliance, and ERP migration initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- CPA designation
- 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or retail is an asset
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience with financial system migration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Experience with Syteline is an asset
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and demonstrate leadership
