Job Summary
Manage month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, account analysis, and financial reporting support. Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies. Analyze account activity, investigate variances, and identify opportunities for process improvements while partnering with cross-functional teams to understand business activity and cost drivers. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and financial support. Assist in maintaining and improving accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation to ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting standards. This hands-on role focuses on GAAP compliance, general ledger accounting, and audit support within a corporate accounting team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
