Job Summary
Record, track, and report all financial information for Watershed Foods and related entities, ensuring accurate ledger entries and reconciliations. Analyze costs, revenues, and obligations to predict future financial performance, while preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports for internal and external parties. Monitor accounts receivable and payable agings, manage inventory reporting, and conduct weekly cash position modeling. Implement internal controls to support management decisions and financial integrity. When staffed, supervise and guide lower-level accountants. This role works closely with the VP of Finance to meet monthly reporting requirements and supports cost reduction projects.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting degree
- 3-5 years of professional experience
- Organization and ability to multi-task on a daily basis
- Excellent communication to manage relationships internally and externally
- Analytical skills to monitor various spreadsheets and systems to track inventory, A/P, A/R, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- advanced level MS Excel user
- Certified Public Accountant licensing
- Certified Management Accountant certification credential
