Senior Accountant

Job Summary
Record and maintain accurate accounting entries for sales, purchases, expenses, and payments across Presentail's operations in Lebanon, the UAE, Cyprus, and other markets. Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, payment gateways, and sales channels from multiple platforms including Stripe, retail locations, and delivery services. Prepare monthly financial reports, track company expenses, monitor receivables, and assist with VAT calculations and regulatory reporting. Coordinate with external auditors and support payroll records while identifying discrepancies and improving accounting controls. Manage deadlines and work independently to ensure accurate financial documentation and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, or a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Strong Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills
- Ability to work with multiple currencies and entities
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to identify and investigate financial discrepancies
- Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Arabic language skills are preferred
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, inventory, or multi-branch businesses is an advantage
- The employee may occasionally be required to provide support outside normal working hours during month-end closing, audits, reporting deadlines, or urgent financial matters
- The Accountant must maintain strict confidentiality regarding Presentail's financial, supplier, employee, customer, and company information
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using accounting software such as Odoo, Wafeq, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is preferred
