Job Summary
Manage daily production review, analysis, entry, and reconciliation of costing and inventory exception reports. Execute weekly and quarterly cycle counting procedures, create accounting reports, and update Bill of Materials. Complete monthly period close tasks including data analysis, journal entries, and scorecard generation. Maintain adherence to company policies and assist with other duties as directed by the supervisor. Requires prior Cost Accounting experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems like QAD or Oracle, and a degree in accounting or finance. Located in a food manufacturing environment with a focus on inventory management and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Accounting experience, preferably Cost Accounting
- Ability to think critically and logically
- Demonstrated pattern of initiative and dedication
- Excellent pattern of attendance reliability
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
- Well-developed written and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with use of computers, including Microsoft Office (Excel, email, etc)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a food manufacturing or related environment
- Experience with QAD, or other related Cost Accounting system
- Experience with perpetual inventory systems
- Experience with Oracle Financials, or other ERP related system
- A degree in accounting or finance
