Job Summary
Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, approvals, and timely vendor payments. Perform accounts receivable, including cash application and aging review. Assist with close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and annual audit. Prepare supporting schedules and ad hoc reports for management review. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed. Partner with operations and leadership across business units to resolve accounting questions and discrepancies. Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, workflows, and efficiency across the businesses. Ensure accurate, organized records to support audits, tax filings, and internal controls. Take on additional projects and responsibilities as the role and company grow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Comfort working cross-functionally with non-finance teams
- Self-motivated and driven
- Strong desire to grow into greater responsibility
- Ability to communicate clearly (talk/hear) in person and by phone
- Occasional need to enter plant floor areas which require proper PPE
Desired Qualifications

- ERP experience
- CPA or progress toward CPA
