Senior Accountant

Job Summary
Prepare journal entries for accruals, prepaids, payroll allocations, depreciation, deferred revenue, and intercompany transactions. Maintain reconciliations across cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and liabilities. Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, prepare trial balances, and deliver executive-ready financial commentary including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Investigate accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards. Support external audits by preparing client schedules and maintaining audit-ready documentation. Mentor junior team members and collaborate with FP&A, operations, and leadership to strengthen financial governance and automate reporting workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4–5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks
- Experience with accounting platforms such as NetSuite
- Experience with accounting platforms such as Xero
- Experience with accounting platforms such as SAP
- Experience with similar ERP systems
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including Pivot Tables
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including INDEX/MATCH
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills including Conditional Formatting
- Experience with Reconciliation templates
- Experience managing Month-end close
- Experience managing Financial reporting
- Experience managing Account reconciliations
Desired Qualifications
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification
- Experience with Multi-entity accounting
- Experience with Foreign currency accounting
- Background in SaaS
- Background in Professional Services
- Background in Real Estate
- Background in Multi-entity organizations
- ERP implementation experience
- Accounting automation experience
- Familiarity with financial dashboards and reporting tools
