Job Summary
Coordinate the monthly financial close process, ensuring all costs are properly recorded, and prepare journal entries, reports, and account balance reconciliations. Compile and distribute reporting packages while performing fixed asset reporting and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with year-end audits, compilations, tax return preparation, and annual budgeting. Analyze financial information to summarize drivers, perform variance analysis, and make recommendations. Partner with department leaders to support reporting and interpret complicated financial data for stakeholders. Assist the Director of Finance in preparing documents and interpreting financial information for managers and executives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related field from an accredited college or university
- Minimum five years previous Accounting or Finance experience
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft and Google suites
- Sit and stand for extended periods of time
- Requires lifting, carrying and/or moving objects in a manner consistent with most office environments (generally, no more than 10 pounds on a frequent basis and 20 pounds on an occasional basis)
- Finger dexterity for typing on a keyboard and using a mouse for extended periods of time
- Vision (e.g., depth perception, color vision, strong vision up close)
- Hearing (e.g., high pitch sounds, soft or distant sounds)
