Job Summary
Senior Accountant is onsite in Wood Dale, IL and responsible for preparing monthly journal entries and accruals under U.S. GAAP, managing payroll journal entries, allocating costs to departments, preparing reconciliations, consolidations and intercompany eliminations, monitoring vendor rebates, supporting audits, and maintaining internal controls; collaborates with Payroll/Benefits, Treasury, FP&A and other teams to ensure timely close and accurate financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in NetSuite and/or Epicor ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, distribution or related environment strongly preferred
