Senior Accountant, Operations | Global Manufacturing

Senior Accountant, Operations role focused on the month-end close, variance analysis, and cross-functional partnership with operations, procurement, and finance to improve financial visibility and accuracy. Responsibilities include collaborating with vendors and plant teams to resolve discrepancies, investigating payment issues with procurement and suppliers, preparing price variance analyses for customer pass-through reporting, completing monthly journal entries and reconciliations (including rebates, tariffs, freight, and in transit), managing vendor claims and collections, reviewing freight invoices and accruals, recording receipts for outside processing, maintaining standard costs, contributing to ongoing cost accounting improvements, reconciling utility invoices, providing analysis to plant teams, and supporting ad hoc projects within the Operations Accounting function. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, 3+ years of manufacturing/inventory-focused accounting experience, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or similar ERP, advanced Excel skills, strong organizational and communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional setting.
