Job Summary
Oversee daily accounting operations for travel and tourism activities, including airline ticketing, hotel bookings, Umrah packages, and tour operations. Supervise the accounting team through task allocation, performance monitoring, and staff development. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial transactions, while handling BSP reconciliation for airline ticket sales and refunds. Monitor supplier and vendor accounts, manage accounts receivable and payable cycles, and prepare VAT returns ensuring compliance with ZATCA requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 3–5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in the Saudi travel sector.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience
- At least 2 years in travel and tourism companies within Saudi Arabia
- Proven experience in team leadership and staff supervision
- Strong knowledge of accounting, travel revenue cycles, and supplier reconciliations
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with accounting systems used in travel companies
- ERP or travel systems integration experience
