Job Summary
Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and cash management. Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes to prepare accurate financial statements for leadership and the outside CPA. Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, job costing, and margin analysis while monitoring financial performance to identify trends and risks. Develop internal controls, improve accounting processes, support audits, and provide oversight to an existing accounting team member. Work directly with executive leadership to provide financial insights that influence operational and strategic decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of five years of senior-level accounting experience
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or providing oversight to accounting employees
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
- Experience using an MRP or ERP system
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship
