Job Summary
Support day-to-day bookkeeping for US-based Xero partners and small business clients, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. Serve as the trusted point of contact for accountants and clients, maintaining responsive and service-oriented communication. Integrate AI-powered tools throughout your workflow to speed up tasks and improve quality, while actively testing, evaluating, and refining these tools to identify efficiency gains. Document your learnings, workflows, and best practices to create repeatable processes that others can adopt and scale. Partner closely with US leadership to shape how AI-powered bookkeeping serves small businesses, helping to define modern standards for the industry.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping for small businesses
- Solid command of core bookkeeping workflows: reconciliation, AP/AR, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Understanding of US bookkeeping practices and requirements
- Experience using AI tools in a professional workflow
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI tools
- You are a bookkeeper who genuinely loves bookkeeping
