Job Summary
Manage the accounting department by leading personnel, guiding complex professional duties, and providing analysis, preparation, and maintenance of financial records. Perform Accounts Receivable functions including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation. Enter routine journal entries, bank transactions, AP bills, and credit card transactions. Execute month-end closing and reconciliation while investigating, correcting, and adjusting accounting information. Support department peers as needed. Complete a full application on the careers page, including screening questions and a pre-employment test. Report for Mass Markets programs and business activities in accordance with standard policies, legal requirements, and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting working experiences including accounts receivable, journal entries, month-end closing and reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact within all levels of the organization
- Ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects
- Detail-oriented, excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Organized, able to prioritize and work independently
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
- Must be willing to submit to drug screening
