Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

Job Summary
Senior Accountant - Manufacturing role focused on product costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis across a multi-site manufacturing network. You will develop and maintain labor and overhead rates for costing and inventory valuation, oversee cost accumulation systems, review BOMs and perform monthly cost rolls, lead physical inventory and cycle counts, analyze material/labor/overhead variances, manage fixed assets and depreciation, track capital expenditures, prepare journal entries and month-end close, conduct site-level P&L reviews, and support annual budgeting. Partner with site leadership to deliver actionable financial insights using ERP systems and advanced Excel. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and 3+ years of cost or manufacturing accounting experience; CPA or CMA is preferred but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 3+ years of cost accounting or general accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, product costing, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- CPA or CMA certification preferred (not required)
