Job Summary
Senior Account Manager – Real Assets in Tokyo responsible for client relationship management, end-to-end fund accounting operations, NAV review, financial statement preparation, budgeting, client onboarding, and regulatory/compliance tasks. Leads team performance, implements SSAE 16 controls, ensures AML/KYC compliance, liaises with auditors, and oversees capital activity and investor reporting. Requires 10+ years of private equity or real estate fund accounting experience, fluent Japanese and English, and advanced Excel skills; professional designations (CA/CPA/CMA) are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master level degree in accounting
- 10+ years of private equity or real estate fund accounting experience
- Experience in reviewing and preparing financial statements
- Proficiency in Japanese & English (verbal and written)
- Advanced level MS Excel; MS Word; MS PowerPoint
- Knowledge and prior experience on Efront or Yardi is highly desirable
- Professional designation such as C.A., C.P.A., or C.M.A. would be an asset
